 Band saw the various pieces to
the correct shape and sand off all the sharp
edges. The horse heads were cut from 3/4"
plywood and fastened with glue and screws to the
teeter board.

This sturdy tetter board makes
the small children happy both indoors and out.
The material used was hardwood such as birch but
pine will do almost as well. 
The base is fastened together with glue and
screws and the cross support that the teeter
board pivots on is a 1" harwood dowel.
Seal twith one or more coats of shellac and then
leave natural or paint to suit.
