Here is a popular addition to your lawn or garden that can be built of either pine or hardwood, depending on what you have on hand. The seat, as shown, is made in two sec tions (See Photo 3) so that it may be taken apart and stored in the garage or basement during the winter months of the year. The two unit halves are identical in construction as seen in the drawing, and are merely bolted together with carriage bolts and wing nuts.
The details of construction and all of the necessary dimensions are included in the drawing on the following page. Each unit is assembled with nails and waterproof glue. The finish for outside use should be the same as described in the porch glider that is, with boiled oil and outside paint.
