Hack #45 DIY Stabilizers.

Dwayne Miller, a member of the GD 22MLE Facebook page, posted this mod to make simple stabilizers to minimize movement in your RV. They work for ANY RV – with adjustment to size. Along with well chocked wheels, they should pretty well eliminate that shaking RVs tend to experience when moving around inside

I made four wood stabilizer legs out of treated 2×4 lumber, eyebolts/washers/nuts and a couple of ratchet straps.

The overall length of each leg is 37 inches.
I can say these are an absolute game changer. These additional supports remove almost all movement of the trailer. It makes sense as these support legs are wedged tight against the frame with two up front & two in back and ratcheted snug with the straps.

Setup time is ~5 minutes. I cut the tops at a 45 degree angle. I made the bottoms two 45s into a point. The overall length of each leg is 37 inches.
I didn’t over think this. I know each site will be different and could affect the length from frame to ground

You could design legs with adjustable length to allow for more uneven sites.
Aluminum legs using 1″ square stock would be another option.
