Hack #19 Window Valence Trays.

Here’s a great way to put that space on top of the window valences to good use.
They are metal mesh desk organizing bins. I got these from the local dollar store (best price) but they are sold at many other places.
All you need to do is to screw them down to the top of the valence with small screws. It doesn’t take much to hold them in place. You could also use velcro or maybe even command strips?
This is a great place to keep keys and small items – especially for the windows next to the door.
